SodaHead - What's Bubbling in Your Head?
When you see that someone edited a comment, do you think that they took something out they decided not to say, or that they just edited a spelling error, etc.?

I have done this before, to change my grammar on several polls. Not the best speaker "typer" here, but I do not want to sound stupid either. LOL
And when someone is hateful and blocks you because they do not agree, I add to my previous comment to let them know I did not appreciate being blocked. -

Answered None of the above
I always try to make sure my comment makes sense and sometimes I edit it after I posted it and read it and say to myself what the hell were you saying. I'm also removed somethings if I feel maybe is too vulgar or inappropriate...:o) -

I'm usually fixing my spelling so I think that's most of it....but sometimes just to make sure I am understanding the question I look at a couple answers, then sometimes if I'm off the mark I change things, like one where a hubby needed ideas for a gift, then I looked at answers and saw his wife answered the poll and said what she wanted....so I changed it to say do what she wants. -

I dont know where those mistakes come from. The sentence looks correct when I type them but somehow once on display those pesky grammar and spelling errors crop up magically. lol...see I did it again! duh -

Answered Took out something they didn't want others to see.
I think on occasion it's spelling although most people on here don't care about spelling! I think it's MORE they realize they said something they shouldn't have! I know I get easily upset at a few people who are too dumb to function on their own and I end up editing myself before I offend them or others...If I'm upset I usually stop and re-read what I've written to make sure that there isn't too much "harm" being done"! Then again sometimes I edit to offend more haha! :) -

Personally, I don't think too much of it. I know I've edited a few comments to correct spelling and grammar - but I'm a writer and that's normal lol. Can't help going back - even weeks after the post - and correcting a mistake in spelling - it's almost OCD for me actually. As far as when I see someone else edited their post - I really just don't think anything of it. So what if they did take out something? Isn't that also a part of the freedom of speech? So why bother worrying over it? -
raves +1 Aug 29, 2007 01:55PM GMT (edited)You know, I wish more people would read over what they've written down before hitting vote. Not just for spelling errors. I can usually figure those out. Fragmented sentences, no punctuation, sometimes I read an answer 3 or 4 times and don't have a clue what the person is saying. I try to work it out, but it just doesn't make sense. I'm sure they have valid points, but I just figure I'd have to be in their head with them to know what they are.

Now why should that bother me I asked myself, then figured I was spending way to much time on these SH polls. lol
