Man Calls 911 For Incorrect Subway Order: Should HE have been arrested?
You can bet a Jacksonville, Florida man wishes he had just paid the five-bucks for a foot long at Subway. Instead, he was charged with making a false 911 call.Reginald Peterson ordered a Spicy Italian Sub with the works. Sandwich artists put mayo on mustard on it, but no sauce. That put Peterson over the edge and he called 911 to complain. He called a second time to complain officers weren't arriving fast enough. Subway workers told police the 42-year-old became belligerent and yelled when they were fixing his order. They locked him out of the store when he left to call police. When officers arrived, they tried to calm Peterson and explain the proper use of 911. Those efforts failed, and he was arrested on a charge of making false 911 calls. So, do you think he should have been arrested?

he endangered someone's life every second he was on that 911 call. he knew that. in my mind, he should be charged for first degree murder.

put yourself in his shoes, would you value life or the subway sauce?

Different places have different laws I would expect, but from what I understand making fake calls to 911 is a crime. The penalties for the crime I'm sure are different from place to place. I'm sure if he had listen to the officer when they tried to tell him the proper use of 911 they would of let it go with warning or a fine.

    "Sandwich artists" bahahahaha
i think they might of flipped the story abit.

Noone really calls the police on a story like that,
maybe if it was all really true, he`s got problems,
but i`m going to bet that he was upset at something.
I mean fuck, if someone made a sandwhich that wasnot in my order, and charged my card already for it, then fuck that, i`m complaining.

I think he should have been charged, but he shouldn't go to jail. They should also make sure he's okay "upstairs".

The sandwich isn't the issue. This guy has a problem and he just happened to be at this store when it surfaced. If he's going to be a danger then the cops have no choice.

Is that man purely an idiot or what? 911 Isn't a complaint hotline! Given, You would be upset if they didn't get your sandwich order right, but come on!!! The guy was standing right there watching as they made his sandwich! If they did something wrong he could have obviously asked them to re-make it!! But by calling 911, not once, but 2 times, he not only was disturbing the peace, he could have been depriving someone else of the emergency care they needed. The workers at subway should have called the police on him because he was acting up. In the end. This guy was RIGHTFULLY arrested.

I hate subway. They always mess up my order, and I have waited, on more than one occasion, for over thirty minutes for my sandwich. If I had that kind of time to spare, I'd probably chose somwhere nicer to eat. Neadless to say, I'm not overly sympathetic to Subway, and I can understand this guys frustration.
