Did Obama go to Iraq just for photo ops and votes?
It's been reported that he shunned the troops and does'nt care about the sacrifice US troops have suffered!-

Damned if you do and damned if you don't. McCain criticized him for not going, and criticized him for going. Reports of him blowing off the troops have been widely discredited, and who are you to say he doesn't care about their sacrifices? He cares enough to have a plan to end this fiasco. -

Thanks to all that support our awesome volunteer defenders!!
John McCain has two sons that served in Iraq, please note he has not tried to make political points on their service. The folks that denigrate him should read his books. In his 20's flew 23 combat missions, shot down on #23;spent 51/2 years as a POW,endured horrendous torture. Can't raise arms above shoulder level due to torture.
,
Obama,in his 20's,by his own admission smoked dope and snorted coke",finding himself racially" what a contrast!!Can't find much he has ever done except promote himself.
YES! he went for self-promotion,what an egotist,to think he is capable of being president after only 143 days in the Senate!! -

This whole trip was a facade. Any troops that he saw were there because they had no choice. Obama is clueless concerning the countries issues but VERY media savy. Obama has one srong political belief..to define it look up Marxism in a dictionary. -

And when did he leave the gym? My understanding is he didn't leave there to meet anyone else. And yes, the area is secure enough for him to do that.
Thanks for the video though. It'll look good against the other accounts from the area. -
raves +1 Jul 29, 2008 04:25PM GMTMajority voted for him. Or did you miss his winning the overwhelming number of counties?
You see, you are in the minority right now. So claiming that "majority rules" only means you should be willing to go along.
Now run along and play with you toys. Us big boys will do the hard work. -
raves +2 Jul 31, 2008 12:51AM GMTActually, they are there in Iraq because they swore an oath to serve our country. This is not a multiple choice decision, it is a yes or no issue. Our support of our troops should not be conditional on our politics. It is easy to mock from the comfort of home.( sorry for the rant but you pushed a BIG button)
