Would you rather live in a Big City or a Small Town???

I used to live in Chicago and LOVED Big City life. Problems were Insane Traffic(took me 2 hours to drive 10 miles to work) and lots of noise. Benefits- Many places to eat different Ethnic foods, CONCERTS, things to do.
Moved to the East Coast and now live in a Small Town of about 50,000. Closest Big City is about 150 miles away. Problems- Not a big selection of different Ethnic foods, NO Concerts :( and not much to do. Benefits-No Traffic-takes 6 minutes to get to work, peace and quite whenever you want it. If you like hiking and the outdoors, It's Paradise.:)

The thing about small towns is you know everyone but then again cities have so much excitement and adventure.

Hmmmmm. Hard to choose.

    I currently live ina rural area and work in a large city. I like living here but my husband is arranging a move for us in about two months. I don't think I'm gonna like city life.

    i'm a very social person. i like to feel like something is always going on and if i want to i can go do something exciting. i want to live right by coors stadium, i love the buisiness there. and it's really pretty! social person feel exciting live coors stadium love buisiness pretty

    I like to visit the country when I need to get away, but I am 100% a city chick. NYC is the best place in the world and I couldn't imagin living any place else!!!

    I was raised in a smaller city neighboring San Francisco...I love my city by the bay, but I rather live in a smaller town. Better to raise kids, easier to breath. But I do get out to the city often.

    I go as much as I can....I only live 45 minutes away....I mostly go to the beach or visit my family, but there is always something to do!

    Awesome!!!! When I lived in Chicago, I lived about 10-15 miles away from downtown Chicago. Pretty close you'd think except for the 1+ hour drive to go that 10-15 miles. That's the ONLY thing I don't miss about Chicago.

    I also live on the East Coast, in a small town. It's nice, I like it. It is peaceful and there is no ridiculous traffic. I've never lived in a big city, but I've visited. It was okay - I'm too impatient for that much traffic and that many people, but it was diverse.

    Medium sized cities - big enough to have culture, restaurants, recreation, public transportation, but surrounded by undeveloped countryside for outdoor recreation offer the best of both worlds.

    Have lived in both. For a young person a city like Chicago is great. But I'll take raising a family in a small town any day.

    PS I live in a town of 6,000 and I am still close enough to Chicago that I can hit a play on a Saturday night and if the Gods of traffic are kind be home in just over an hour.
