If you were held up at gunpoint... would you fight back, or submit?
Someone approaches you...and pulls out a gun and points it at your head...only a few feet away. Will you do as he says, or will you fight him off?-

Answered I will try to fight back, only if I think he is going to assault me in any way, he can have my money otherwise

I'd first ask what they want? While in my head thinking of what to do and what my safest options are, as well as looking for an opening and utilizing the option of surprise with my main goal being to eliminate the dangers of physical harm (being out of gun range or in a position that if I did get shot it wouldn't be life threatening) however I'd rather die fighting than let someone physically take advantage of me. -

I will give him my money, my purse, my watch, earings, necklace, rings, even my shoes, but I will not let him rape me, I would try to defend myself even if that meant loosing, but that would be extremely scary. -

It depends. I have actually been held up at gunpoint while working at a motel. In that situation, I managed to remain calm and and give them the cash because I knew that was what they were after. The got what the wanted and left. And in the end I helped the local cops nab them by paying attention and being a good witness.
That being said, if the person with the gun demanded something that I would never do, or that I felt would completely devalue my life in my own eyes, I would have to take the risk and fight. I would probably die trying, but that is often the price of taking a stand against tyranny. -

This is so based in circumstances that it's very difficult to call. My guiding principal would be that I would fight back IF an reasonable opportunity presented itself and the chance of quickly nullifying any danger to myself (and others with me) looked good. Otherwise, I would make no foolhardy or other moves just for principle. -

Or ask him if he plans to shoot me...in that case I will offer to show him how to do it(O: Hey he could be high on drugs and dumb enough to fall for it. -

Answered I will do as he says no matter what it is..to have a better chance of living.
If in my car? I carry a gun....
