Guitar Hero III vs. RockBand: Which is better?

In Guitar Hero III, the player uses a special guitar-shaped controller to simulate the playing of rock music by playing in-time to scrolling notes on-screen, similar to the previous versions. However, Guitar Hero III allows for online play, as well as multiple cooperative modes not previous available.

RockBand allows players to perform in virtual bands by providing up to four players with the ability to play three different peripherals modeled after music instruments (a guitar peripheral for lead guitar and bass guitar gameplay, a drum peripheral, and a microphone).

The question is, which is a better game?

guitar hero because a lot of people think its easier and it came out first rock band just took guitar hero and added on plus the guitar hero songs are better

rockband cuz it has more variety! on guitar hero u can only play guitar but on rockband u can sing, play drums, play bass, and play guitar! but if u suck at drums and singing, u would probably like guitar hero better :]
