Susan Olsen (Cindy Brady) almost puked during a radio interview. In the background, you could also hear her 12 year old son saying "Come to the bar tonight and watch my Mom drink like a pig!" What do you think of this?

raves +1 Jul 11, 2008 08:16PM GMTThat's exactly the kind of attitude that's wrong with America today. What kind of impression do you think that leaves on a 12 year old when Mom leaves you, and runs out of the room to puke because of excessive drinking?
Then we wonder why kids grow up with bad values... there's your answer. -
raves Jul 11, 2008 08:20PM GMTThere is a lot more important thing to discuss in the this world than the drinking habits of a former child star. What is wrong with America is people like who are fixated on crap like this when our best and our brightest are dying in Iraq and the government is manipulating us with lies. So once again. WHO CARES?

raves +1 Jul 12, 2008 02:12AM GMTI'm trying to look at the big picture, not only this example. The base of our future society is our kids. If that base crumbles because people (mainly their parents) don't care what morals they grow up with, then we'll have a lot worse things to worry about than the Iraq war.
But, you know what? Go ahead and don't care for now. If things keep going the course they are, the teenage gangs with their guns, drugs, and crime will be there to visit you soon enough. Then we'll see who cares. -
raves +1 Jul 12, 2008 05:40PM GMTthe website you go this crap from is the equivalent of the Nationial Enquirer do you get your news from print. It was a set up. Have you ever had a hang over? Have you ever had a smartass 12 year old it was all a set up. alcoholism is a disease and not a moral issue she needs treatment not disgust or judgement. and what the hell does cindy brady have to do with gangs and drugs. Once again who cares if people left them alone then they didn't broadcast shit like that who would see. Families have always been messed up, it is the ones that seem the most perfect are usually the most messed up. So I don't think Cindy Brandy is going cause the collapse of the American Culture. Bush killing millions over Daddy issues is something breaking down society.

raves +1 Jul 12, 2008 10:03PM GMTWe probably see more things alike than what you would think.I am just saying there are alot more important things in this world that talking about a middle aged woman puking. Who cares? I have a sarcastic sense of humor and we need to be role models to our kids, not anyone else, if you live a good life and support your kids, you don't have to worry about your kids seeing stuff like this. And I am sure you do. I am just so tired of hearing about Britney, Lindsey and so on in the news, when we are fighting in an unjust war fought on lies, the media is in the business of selling viewership, I worked in it, I know, so if we ignore and demand relevant and important issues they wouldn't broadcast it. but they give us stuff geared towards the lowest common denomator and people eat it up. We probably agree on alot of things. Who cares was my ways of saying we should just ignore this and not even give this type of behavior that satisfation of even talking about it. I just didn't like being told that I was part of the problem with America. I do care, I am good role Model for my son. And I am sure you are also but what some hasbeen does on some minor radio station has no bearing in my life so once again.; WHO CARES!

raves Jul 13, 2008 12:43AM GMTI get you're point of view. But just now I was watching a A&E show on people in Iowa addicted to crank. There was one woman who was snorting and shooting up with her sons! The son (20's) said "here Mom, hold this (mirror with lines) while I snort it." The mother did, and then turned around and told the camera "My other son is in prison for almost killing us with an ax while he was on crank." She said that almost like she was bragging about it, or proud that she survived the attack. But look at what she's still doing with her other sons?
Another couple were bringing a child into the world with the dad addicted to crank, and the wife was encouraging him before the baby was born, but was setting ultimatums after the baby was born. After the baby was born he said he was going to quit. Think he did? No. After 36 hours he was back at it. I wonder what that kid is going to be like because of the great role models?
Everything like this just scares me. I can't understand what people think who do those things. Then there are those adults buying alcohol for teens, which is not as bad as crank of course, but is paving the road to that point.
You're right. I do live a good life, and teach my kids the values and morals to hopefully do the same. But people with morals like the mother ment...I get you're point of view. But people with morals like the mother mentioned above are the ones I'm worried about whose kids are going to make buddies with my son. I just hope and pray I've taught him enough values and morals to turn that "friend" away.(less) -

Answered None of the above
It's easy to judge her when we haven't heard anything from her in 30 years. It would suck if this was a once in a blue moon hang over and the kid was just being a wise ass (like kids are). But something tells me she is a typical child star, now an adult with serious issues. -
