I don't want change; I want IMPROVEMENT! How about you?

The economy is tanking.
The price of filling your tank is insane.
Our troops in Iraq will be there for years at the rate we're going.
There is a housing/mortage crisis.
Jobs are disappearing overseas.
Health care is still a big issue with no real solution offered.
Remember Social Security????
And yeah, it's STILL the Economy, stupid!

Thanks. The speeches are getting to me; we need to hear less talk and more solutions.

    improvement = change.
  • raves +1   [-] Lady O (...) replied to Andrew
Not necessarily; things could change for the worse.
  • raves     [-] Andrew replied to Lady O (...)
i didnt say change = improvement....
  • raves +1   [-] Lady O (...) replied to Andrew
Your use of the equal sign is unclear to me, then.
    I'm into Math ; - P
  • raves +1   [-] Andrew replied to Lady O (...)
haha... doesnt work on a mathematical level. Itd have to be a one-ways equal sign. Improvement is always change, but change is not always improvement :)
  • raves     [-] Lady O (...) replied to Andrew
Now ---your last sentence sums it up.

1+2= 2+1....unless of course, you work for the Congressional Budget Office
    ; - ))
  • raves     [-] freedomforever replied to Lady O (...)
in alignment with that i might remind people that germany wanted change and that is what they got....cuba got change as well......without change being specified one could get something they didnt want....
i say Ron Paul (my 1st choice) or Bob Barr say specifcally what they want to do and change...

I want improvement not change. It is our economy - and what is our economy tied to ----- oil. We need a comprehensive energy plan that starts working now. McCain has one and Obama has nothing but ideas for 22 years from now - this is a change?? Nope.
  • raves +3   [-] by pookiegal

How can anyone disagree with the facts? A speech will not change the fact that our country is in trouble. We deserve better than what we are being offered.
  • raves +3   [-] Lady O (...) replied to pookiegal
Talk is cheap; and talking in front of an American flag does not give a person credibility. I want specifics from these guys; not campaign rhetoric. Guess we have a long wait.
  • raves +2   [-] pookiegal replied to Lady O (...)
No doubt about it- There is a lot of work to be done and I take this very seriously.
    Great post Schatzi !!

And no one can change this over night and NO ONE DID THIS OVER NIGHT...............or in the last 8 years. Bush got a $h! y Deal when 9-11 happened and I still believe he worked miracles that we are even at a decent economy in places. Like in Oklahoma we are doing GREAT. Hate to keep rubbing that in you guys but it's the truth. NO RECESSION HERE. NO problems except that in the panhandle we have the worst drought since the Great Depression. You people that can not get jobs.........COME ON DOWN! WE ARE HIRING! Houses are cheaper here, Builders need carpenters, bricklayers needed. We are moving the Seattle Sonics here next month and need new houses. Everything is great here. I would even invite some to stay with me. I have lots of room but my house is falling apart, plumbing everything. Back to the Presidential race. McCain at least has some experience in time but he's no great deal, Obama, he's no pardon the pun, no great white hope. NEITHER of them face the REAL PROBLEMS WE HAVE FACING US RIGHT NOW. We need someone who would represent..
deal obama pardon pun white hope real problems facing representdeal obama pardon pun white hope real problems facing representdeal obama pardon pun white hope real problems facing represent
