Let's watch another classic creepy film, this time it's Nosferatu?

This one promises to be a good old fashioned creeper..

Are you kidding? I've seen scarier things than him. I'll still watch it but I won't be scared.

No, he was in the episode where Squidward and Spongebob had to work the night shift at the Krusty Krab. Squidward told Spongebob a scary story, and a bunch of weird things started happening. Such as the lights flickering. The found an explanation for everything except the flickering of the lights, then they looked over to a corner and found... Nosferatu!

When Murnau made this I believe he truly caught the essence that Stoker intended for the terror in his audience. In classic German style not unlike the only other perfect classic of it's time -Metropolis which is a science fiction film created by the famed Austrian-German director Fritz Lang. And if you watch the 2 they are really quite comparable. The styles and the madness that set in on the characters are so compelling here that almost 100 years we are later fascinated by the perfection of them. In my opinion, as well as many in the film industry Metropolis is the finest film ever made. The new remake with today's modern music is quite interesting. It's my favorite of all my copies, and I have them all. And Nosferatu as for it , is still the finest vampire movie in history.

remake modern music interesting copies nosferatu finest vampire movie history

An idea as well, in most psychological studies of "vamp freaks", there is an underlying sexual urge to succumb to this peccant. Which of course all directors play upon. To arouse erotic desire, making the vamp tantalizing. While in true life of course, vampires are anything but. They are cruelly malicious unconscionable demoniac and immoral. Who are zealous in their objective to their consumption, which of course in all likelihood leads to ones demise . Secondarily, their looks are shockingly ghastly and horrendous. They are never Frank Langella gorgeous and Cary Grant suave and debonair. There is simply no need for that. They have boundless powers and considering their ingenious trickery, as well as how they master all entirety what would be the need? They've walked amoung us existing unchanged forever, in essence are ageless. Taking whatever they want, leaving no witnesses. Except those of course who are left to tell the tale...................
