I like the changes to the Down-rave system. I'm wondering, though, if a post receives multiple down-raves, is it still arbitrarily deleted or does SH staff check first to verify that it violates the rule indicated?
I also like that SH now has a separate area for adult and mature content. That allows adults to have important conversations that may be inappropriate for younger readers. -
I'm not sure. I know there was a fuss before the changes about people posting mature content on SodaHead. Recently I went to answer a poll with a mature theme and it made me verify that I wanted to visit the mature content section. Does anybody else here know how to find this section?

When you go to visit a poll in that category, it comes up with a window that says, "You must be 18 years of age to view this page. Please enter your age below:"

I like it BECAUSE you can no longer down-rave comments simply because you disagree with it. I would have no problem with down-raving comments with which you disagree as long as they weren't arbitrarily deleted because of the down-raves. If you want to continue to down-rave comments with which you disagree, then SH should at least let them remain on the board for others to read, unless they do violate the decency terms, etc. I think deleting all of the content with which you disagree violates free speech and is patently unamerican.

I just wish the automated system for choosing the category for your polls wasn't so whacked. I always have to change where it is posted. When I posted a poll about waste eating bugs that excrete petroleum, it wanted to post it under television! LOL -
