Which Democrat presidential candidate is easier for the Republicans to defeat in 2008?

Something the democrats need to think about is who can beat the republicans. Hillary is a woman and some people may not vote for her because of that. Obama is an african american with a muslim sounding name. do these play a factor in the upcoming election enough that we should vote for the democrat who can win the whole thing.

I'm beginning to think that Obama is the more dangerous candidate because he's a more convincing phony than Hillary is. But time will tell.

Tough question. The Republicans will try to smear either one. I think Hillary has a stronger chance, but will support either candidate. Go Dems!

Because get right down to it, theblacks don't want white, whites don't want a black, so if it's not Hillary, they'll go McCain or stay home, i am not ready for Mr. Wright , church goer of 20 yrs. to lead this country, i'll stigk with Clintons, thats my change.......
  • raves     [-] Blaco replied to jud
Clinton will never win, blacks will vote for McCain. If Obama is such a bad person why superdelegates switch from Clinton to Obama. You do not know Obama but superdelegates know him. Obama is a great man with a lot of charismatic, an eloquent speaker, brilliant man graduate from Harvard University, good looking and charming. You might not like him because he is black, it's ok. I have been around bad people and i listen to them talking that's does not make me guilty by association. I am not a bad person and i know who i am.

Despite the obvious issues both face, people need to look past gender or skin color and do some research on the individual candidates themselves and realize what they stand for and their policies are. The lack of education about these issues actually has a negative effect to an extent on both of them which is completely unnecessary, people can afford 5 minutes out of their day to inform themselves about such a big issue. With everything at stake in this election it is crucial for as many Americans to get involved as possible.

By far it is Barack! The GOP has been attacking Hillary 4 many years and still haven't beat her yet. Obama's skeletons are still popping up, Hillary's have already been exposed and rumaged through.

Obama is history either way , either he loses the nomination, or he loses to McCain. Way too many questions about him lately to think he has a chance.
  • raves   -1 [-] Blaco replied to Mtnman
Obama is for me the best qualify person. McCain and Hillary talk about experience. They never been president before. What kind of experience they are talking about? McCain should retire for his age not running for a stressful job. I like Obama speech. To my generation I have never seen a political leader brilliant like him with such an charismatic and eloquent speaker.

Obama has a cultist appeal, and Clinton has her husband's experience in agressive politics.

As long as the people keep their eyes on them, neither should get it though.

The rerpublicians will dig up every peice of dirt on him they can find and then probably make up some. Hillary on the other hand has been through the scrutiny until there is nothing more to dig up and the people of the United States are hearing about her husbands affair. He is not as seasoned as Hillary and therefore, open to more pressure from the republicians.
  • raves +4   [-] Mollybdamned replied to DonnaMc
Hi DonnaMc, They should know everything about Sen. Clinton. The Republicans spent 67 million on Ken Starr to dig up all the dirt he could find. And then nothing happened. Now, wouldn't those Republicans like to have that money now? LOLOL

Hilary Clinton is not a strong candidate at all. Obama is already beating her in his campaign. If the other democratic candidates can't beat him what makes you think the republians can?
  • raves +1   [-] by lesismore

    Answered Barack Hussein Obama

    lack of experience and substance.
  • raves     [-] Blaco replied to lesismore
None of them got experience as President, they will learn while in the office. How many years McCain have been try to be where he is today as Republican nomimee. If he was so experienced as they said he would beat Bush and others. Obama is the most qualify person to be President with his intellectual package. He is a powerful speaker and he is BRILLIANT. It's boring to listen to McCain and Hillary make a speech. Do not forget Obama is an Harvard Graduate he is a total package.

Obama is not going to be only the nominee, he will be the next President of United States of America. He is the most qualify candidate. Be honest who is the most eloquent speaker? Obama is special. I have never seen a political leader like him. He is brilliant, he is an Harvard graduate and he look better than any other candidate. People participate in this election because of Obama. He energizes them because he is such a powerful speaker. He is a star politician.
