    Apart from the point where we cant go there, if the laws were diffrent i still wouldnt want to. There stuck with almost everything from 'back in the day' and much poverty. By going there you are spending money that is going to their (pardon my french) fucked up government somehow. In other words there is nothing im dieing to see that is their..

    Actually, there's this Cuban art gallery on Queen West, and it's got some wonderful things in it... and the curator is really awesome, haha, last time I was there, he started singing show tunes, so my friend and I joined it, it was great fun.

    I have been there three times. Many many years ago.
    For a time it was like Hawaii only a lot closer. Now it is a communist hell that sympathizes with the likes of Hugo Chavez and Akminwishhewadeadajob. Not a good place.

    I think it would be facinating to meet these people. The Caribbean is beautiful and I would assume that the Cubans could use some American dollars. As the world grows smaller, we become more aware of our fellow eartlings in need. I would like to extend my hand in friendship and like to hope that seeds of hope are sewn wherever I go.

    Nope had a lay over in Gitmo from a mission to south america for humanitarian reasons can not really discuss further. It was miserably hot there we flew on a freezing cold ass C-130 had some problems so had to land at Gitmo and changed planes and was on the way to South america cold ass c-130 problems land gitmo changed planes south america

    I already had permission to go in once and I did vicariously as we have built 18 Christian churches there now with the permission of the American Government and Castro. I couldn't go at the last minute as I became very ill with a kidney stone so the team when in without me. My Cuban friend that has family there and arranged it....died shortly there after but the church is named after him.

    As a Veteran Cruiser, I have been to every single Island in the Americas but Cuba, stopped once at Gitmo for Medical Emergency on Ship, I slept through it so yes, I would love to be able to visit and hopefully with more tourism Cubans lives will improve!!!
