I noticed that. WTF? I guess it's US or World now. I don't see the sense in 5 or 6 categories, but I never paid much attention to the category to begin with.

I don;t like the change either. They could have added some sub-options under the categories, which would had been nice.
This may condense options, yet to me, gives an amateurish look to the site.

Maybe it is the first move of control of the internet by the powers that be. I mean , the MSM is controlled, why not the blog sites. I know that sounds cynical but take a look around.

This is a good question, and the first time I've noticed that the "politics" category was gone. Maybe they shoud have a category "Obama Bashing" with so many threads with that subject matter. :-o
