All I can think of is they have US and World like they used to - but don't have the word politics after it. Maybe we are just supposed to assume it means politics? Because that is otherwise a real big topic! lol World?

I noticed that. WTF? I guess it's US or World now. I don't see the sense in 5 or 6 categories, but I never paid much attention to the category to begin with.

I don;t like the change either. They could have added some sub-options under the categories, which would had been nice.
This may condense options, yet to me, gives an amateurish look to the site.

I am about to be the same.. omg I have to blog his miraculous recovery. I built him a "thing a majig" to help teach him how to walk again and kept taking him for acupuncture. He is now able to run some days! He isn't 100% yet but the Vet said today when he walked in on his own power, "Where did you get THIS dog?" lol He is such a little trooper. And although there were times I thought I could not endure another day of his care, I am so glad I did. I have my dog back! He went to being pretty much paraplegic for a while there.

How are you doing??? I was just thinking of you a couple of days ago and wondering what was going on? I won't be here much and am getting ready to go to DC early so after tonight especially I will be hard to find. I might not even see it for a while, but plz send me a mail if you want rather than reply here. I might not find this happening for a month. I hope you are doing better! ??

I am soooo glad to hear that about him. You'll have to remind me of his name, I forgot. I am so thrilled you are getting him acupuncture. I even to my last dog to a chiropractor (sp)! lol! She had an adjustment but I'm not as confident in chiropractors as I am in actupuncturists and watching the adjustment made me a bit nervous so I never did it again for her, but the actupuncture worked wonders. Sorry for the piss poor spelling I don't care that much tonight! lol!
I will send you a personal note and fill you in soon. Overall I am doing really well and things couldn't be going any better under the circumstances. I do have some numbness in both hands and it is driving me nuts but I think it will subside in time. I spend less time on SH but really miss it and some of the very cool people I have met here. You were one of the first so I think of you
often. Anyhow, I don't want to ramble on too much here and now, but I'll update you soon and just take your time w/ any response. My "A" personality is taking a back seat these days to some mysterious invasion of a Homer Simpson type personana. Scary! lol! :))

And what happens when they don't agree? Then we have a "problem" and the gov't will start to monitor the website (more than they do now) and soon it will get shut down... so they eliminated the divide altogether

you can get some of the people to agree some of the time, but in this current society, it would be highly unlikely to get all of the people to agree all of the time.. and differences are what makes us who we are... the only "problem" with differences is when one party (or both) decide to use their differences as a spring board to spew hate at one another instead of agreeing to disagree (which is what they should be doing in my view)

anyways.. there's not one site on the internet that is not scanned for "problems" .. the only way to avoid such problems would be to shut down the internet all together.. (which, i hear they are looking into doing) ... but... for as long as mankind has existed.. there have always been different points of view.. it's only when we go into spirit form that we are truely "enlightened" to the "truth, light and love of the almighty" and differences disappear

Regarding shutting down the internet, it is not possible.
Obama does not own it ,nor does the US Government. It is a Worldwide entity, in use in every country around the world and possibly into outer space. So the US Government might be able to limit the IPS Providers like MSN and AOL, but not the internet.
I am sure that most of all have sent e-mails to people in other countries, and the Federal Government has no control over the use of the internet in Great Britain Japan and Australia

There are too many parts of Federal, State and local governments that rely on the internet to do governmental business, and many companies that have need for the possablity of the instant access and the transfer of data that it would put the US into the Pony Express era overnight and bankrupt virtually every US Business.
So regardless of how pissed Obama is of the fact that the majority of the US Population does not like him, shutting down the internet is not feasible. However threatening to shut it down might possibly scare many people enough that they might stop posting negative comments about him and make him happy, still stupid, but happy.

I doubt it considering you can still ask political questions. Personally i think they were simply trying to streamline the categories.
