It's discrimination to not allow homosexuals the same rights as heterosexuals. Make marriage have no benefits legally if you think it's holy. That way, everyone has civil unions, and marriage is a private religious ceremony with no legal benefits.

I think it would be a great idea for homosexuals to get married. I've always thought that people that love each other should be able to get married if they wanted to, unfortunately, other people don't seem to even consider love when they argue against gay marriage.None of the above

I'm actually not the one with the problem with it, but my mother is. She says that marriage is meant for a man and woman, but she has yet to explain WHY. People have told me it is because it takes away the whole having children thing... but that in part raises the question as why its ok for people that CANT have children to marry? We're humans, therefore equal. First it was race, gender, religion, but now sexuality is still left to be given the same rights. If someone who knew everything about being against gay marriage tried to argue with me, I guarentee you that I cuold argue with everything he or she said.None of the above

Now, I will admit the scientist weren't completely 100% sure that this was the main cause of being gay, but it was one of the many BIOLOGICAL, and NATURAL causes. Here's what they found. They found that a gay woman's brain is similar in structure to a straight man's brain. And a gay man's brain is similar to a straight woman's brain. And also, they did a test on what pheromones stimulate homosexuals. Turns out, gay men are attracted to testosterone and lesbians like estrogen.
This is SCIENCE. Not religion. To be truthful, we should not be looking at these outdated scriptures and turn to modern science. I'm not saying stop believing, I'm saying get with the program, people. Just because your god, in your round-about and twisted way, says that homosexuality is bad, doesn't mean that is true. At all.

By the way...I wasn't raised by gay parents, nor did I even know anyone who was! I had no influences whatsoever, nor did many of my homosexual peers. There's nothing wrong with two people wanting to show and celebrate their love for one another through marriage. I do however have a problem when a church can be sued for refusing to marry a homosexual couple. It's against their beliefs and it's wrong to penalize them for standing by those beliefs. Why should we give a crap, let grown consenting adults make their own decisions. What is marriage between a man and a woman based on but religion, which decides what is better for the proliferation of it's own faith, and has no place in our political arena.
