What a novel find. It seems like a good investment opportunity, because most Americans are so docile and that it would be a boon to them. For me it is a waste of effort. Someones got to do the nasty job though. . .
Hardly worth saving a 12 oz can of pop or beer.........most everyone can drink it in one setting.....going to drive up the cost even more then it already is. Didn't they come out with a little rubbery plastic gadgit that you could reseal a can by sticking this thing over the hole and flipping something and it was "resealed"........don't remember what ever became of that, would be cheaper then this idea cause you could use it over and over.
Europeans don't according to research... plus there are 16 oz cans... and additional benefits to advertisers and to prevent bee stings... a significant number of people suffer and even die from bee stings after drinking from a soda can outdoors after a bee has crawled into it for the sugar...
Yea and you probably fall for a lot of other stuff too. A can of Pepsi isn't going to have any other advertisers on it...Pepsi will just pass on the cost of the new can...that's the cost of doing business.
No but I travel enough to see what other countries use but am tired of paying extra for containers that just get thrown away. We have an extra 5 cents on all beverage containers and it's a real hassle to recycle them and they become a pain in the rear. The normal soda can just doesn't Warrant the use and expense...it would be the occasional use to then make all of us pay for the novelty of it.
I did work for a cannery in my younger days and I know a lot about cans and the cost passed on to consumers.
Have you ever checked the inside of a bottle cap?
You seem to have strong feelings about this...do you work in the beverage industry?
