I give time and money to children's health, children's literacy, St. Jude's, Cancer causes and animal rescue. But you have your own issues just think about what you want to leave a mark on and work on that one.

Choose whichever is closer to your heart. Don't forget the animals, don't forget the WOLFSHADOW for Congress campaign. :P

Don't give your money to the Red Cross or Salvation Army. They mostly use your dollars to fund themselves! (I know about both personally!)

All of the above, but make certain they are legit and can itemize where each dollar goes. Since you have battled cancer and are limited in funds, it would make sense to choose cancer charity if 'all the above' is unrealistic.

The kids who are helpless and needy.. and they didn't ask to be brought into this world.. if they are able to be given a fighting chance to make something of themselves in this world.. than we could potentially have another Albert Einstein.. or Mother Theresa.. and NOT another Jeffrey Dahmer..
