SodaHead Celebrates Green Week

Blogs Angel SA's

Hi, surfing my way here

Hi everyone,
I'm a new sodahead so please be patient with me. A little difficult in navigating myself around here.
I like politics and what better to have a presidential election going on in history, and what better than participating in history.
Isn't it exciting!

I'm voting for Obama, not matter what!

I believe in Obama being the right person to lead America back to the country it once was and still improving the quality of life for all Americans. I believe in his sincerety and integrity in wanting CHANGE for those that need the help and are struggling to keep ends met.

"Because only a person who is truely secure in his identity can afford to take the role of a servant."
I truely believe this statement applies to Barak Obama because he truely wants to be American's servant.

I find McCain blah and not his own man. He wants to be president because he thinks and feels he deserves it, after all he is a veteran. He had over 25 years in Washington to really create Change but didn't. He shows no high accomplishments during those years, so why should I give him four years to try to do any thing for the American people, especially those in proverty and the middle income.

Those are some brief comments from me, Angel SA/TX

Welcome...... I would guess you are young..... and your "no matter what"
is a little closed minded which I bet you really are not.,
We all want "Change" from the last 8 years and you will be told ...
McCain is more of the same.
It is harder for younger people to latch onto him..... he is too much like a parent and some cases grandparent. In other cultures this would be an asset but we Americans are not given to respecting the Wisdom of our elders....... Hey... I am an elder now..... I remember...... Our chanting during the protesting and our flower child days ...... was ..."Don't trust anyone over 30"
We need to take inventory of what we want and want can be achieved as well as where we want to end up in the future.
Sorry Angel........... all of that requires more than desire..... it does require experience and qualifications....... not a leap of faith.
Obama is smart, intelligent and lets say he decided not to finish Law School and wanted to open his own law practice. He catches on fast, and he has some good friends that can mentor him. He should do just fine.
But........ no... he has to finish school and take the bar and pass it.
All of this is quality control....... and to think we do not require the same standards for the the person wanting to lead this Nation?
    Experience ...

Experience is so vital....... so vital...... we have serious problems and a dangerous world.

I am sorry.... McCain is so "blah" and you are so wrong..... he is very much his own man..... that is why they call him Maverick ......
Yes, McCain is a Republican............. but he has a lot of friends in Washington that respect him and many are Democrats that have worked with him. many times, over the years.
Real Change comes with cooperation and the ability to work with those not of the same party..... Bipartisanship....... McCain has a history of doing this...... Obama has never done this.....
He only had a Bipartisan committee on Katrina and they GOT NOTHING DONE.
Have fun...... and again welcome......... always keep an open mind in life.
Why....???? So it can fill up ......:)
