I actually saw a few weeks ago some old friends from school. It was so surprising how much everyone had changed!! I felt like I hadn't changed at all.

I think anyone who has been to a 10+ year class reunion has had this experience.

Oh yes! I've run into people I attended school with who have aged immeasurably since then. A few have even asked if I keep a portrait in the attic...

With a couple people actually. One of them I couldn't recognize until I had been with him for 5 minutes. He came up to me and was like "Zoie!! Hey!" and I was like "Hi?"

Lol. 5 minutes later I realized who it was.

He didn't recognize me, though, either. He had to ask my friend Caleb who I was lol.

Yep, but it was a good change for that person. One of my old friends from high school was very obese. He was just so unhealthy, and I always hoped he'd lose a little weight, just for his sake. Well, just about a year ago, I found him on Facebook and he looks amazing. He's as skinny as a rail now. I am very happy for him.

Prom Queen a meth addict, Nerd a doctor and making millions, Cheerleading captain a successful buisness woman, a band-track-weight lifter a mom of five (that would be me). The guy that got picked on a U.S. Marshal. High School means nothing in the defining of a person. What you are in those four years doesn't tell who you will become after. Life happens, shit happens and there is so much more after highschool.

Almost everyone I run into is a real surprise. Life and circumstances really changes people. It's so sad. Most of the time it's usually due to some sort of substance.
