But Rage Against the Machine is a close second. I love Zach's lyrics. But of course, Thom transcends my soul and puts me at ease...

I am so in love with "In Rainbows" right now. I love both albums...

i went to see the foos in concert, their last one at the spectrum in philly. they came out playing "let it die". the buildup was crazy insane, you could feel it everywhere. then in that part when everything stops right before that breakdown, with that little guitar entry, dave belted out this inhuman scream that tore up my entire body. that scream made me shake and scream and dnace and tear it up threw the entire concert. from that moment on, the foos are my favorite band, hands down.

Red Hot Chili Peppers is amazing. Anthony Kedis has a great singing voice which is unique and different than other singers' voices. Their songs are influential and is pure classic rock.

There is no one band that inspires more than another rather than the factual matter of the songs they provide - any band can provide any song that someone, somewhere can relate too, and feel completely inspired by just that. So all in all, I believe every band has its own niche in the inspiration of todays youth.

I've liked them since I was really little, and I've always loved the lyrical style and the musical compostiton of John and Paul. The songs are simple, but deep sometimes and I can relate to them. The Beatles also have a timelessness about them that keeps them from being "old" and they still sound awesome 40 years later.

i enjoy The POlice's music because they create both a vocally difficult album and use the combination of ingenuity and experience to perform enjoyable songs. the police is a band both parents and children enjoy because its like listening to your parents music and they sound modern enough to be enjoyed by both the young and old. In addition to they were able to settle differences and tour, they were able to perform an amazing show with both great stage presence and the type of show thats appropiate for all ages. Overall the think the police are a great influence because their music is both memmorable and fun to sing along to.

Their music and the publicity of their lives shaped an entire generation - both musically and socially. They connected the US and Great Brittain in a way that we had not been since the American Revolution. For the first time, people from all walks of life and all political views could come together as one voice. And they are still influencing music and culture today, obviously. :)

The Beatles are my favorite of Article A's influence because their influence on rock and roll is is simply incalculable. The Beatles proved that rock and roll had no limits and you can continue to hear their influence on many current bands. During the sixties, The Beatles were not only a musical phenomenon, but they affected the styles and fashions of the decade. I believe they will continue to be the greatest rock and roll band in history and that is some of the reasons they are my favorite.
