They have helped me through my life so much and r still helping me, And besides that they make awesome music and r not afraid to be who they are. I wasn't being critical of MCR - I'm just saying that I have been around so long that I've had a lot of favourite bands over the years! I hope MCR go on forever, that way the obsession never has to end.

My Chemical Romance
Those guys do wonders for a self conscious, awkward, left out, teenaged girl. =D They're amazing, and I get a huge grin on my face when I even think about them. Their music speaks volumes to me. I would be a completely different person if I didn't know they existed.

And HIM. Although, right now I'm supporting someone on a HIM hiatus (No HIM for a while, wah), HIM has amazing music and lyrics. Ville's voice is just... exciting to me. When he hits certain notes, it's like everything in the world is perfect.

I'm not an awkward left out teenage girl..never really was..but, I can relate to the music so much. Lyrically they are amazing..Gerard sings with such powerful conviction..and angst..musically they are astounding.Draws you in and totally captivates you.
I think they would appreciate that u said you would be a different person if you never knew about them. :)

I know u werent referring to me. I meant the statement you made cant be generalized..or that MCR is just for teens..thats all. (you can feel like that at any age..) I had my moments as a teen too. I know you were talking about yourself. I can understand..even when you are older..you still remember what it was like..or how you felt at a low point in your life..its still in there in you..and sometimes can stay w/you.
You seem to be very articulate and bright to me...I dont see you as awkward. :)

yeah I still love Rush...I am so into the Stone Roses, I just blew out a cd "The Very Best of The Stone Roses" because I listen to it all the time...now I'll have to buy another copy...
