    I can't cook.
    And I don't share my chocolate. With anyone. But Ville is special... so he deserves it.

    Chocolate Eclair Cake. It's not really cake it's more of a pudding.My Mom always said that the true test of a good dish is an empty one. I never carry any home with me after the holiday. I would cook anything he wanted. He could also cook me his favorite Finnish dish. He's my favorite Finnish Dish. LOL

    I like doing the non traditional lately. So it might be something like enchiladas or a sorta spicy dish. There would be sides and I like to play poker with friends and family.

    hummm....probly spagatti and meatballs!! not exactly thanksgiving food but ive never cooked a turkey before, mom does that =D im sure he wouldnt mind the unconventional dinner as long as it was yummy!!!!

    Probably I'd be too nervous to cook anything but if I'd manage to fight back my panic attack, then I'd cook Vegetarian Moussaka + salad + baguette. And Tiramisu for dessert. That doesn't sound so much like a Thanksgiving meal but since I'm a German in Finland and we don't really celebrate it I guess that it will be ok :)

    Well since he is Finnish and doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving and i don't either since i'm Scottish it wouldn't be a Thanksgiving dinner. But i suppose i'd cook for him anyway, since it's him and all... ;-)

    My most impressive recipe is vegetarian chilli (yeah, i'm not a good cook....). Maybe i could "accidentally" spill it all over his clothes and.... oops, that bit's not about food.

    my mom made cole slaw tonight!!! I loved it!!! do you like cole slaw? it's basically cabbage carrots mayonnaise sugar vinegar... it was sweet!!! the sugar makes it sweet! it was so good! =)

    It doesn't look like much but it tastes good. It's one of those better the next day foods like chili.

    I'd cook whatever he asked me to. I know it would [probably have to be vegan though. But I wouldn't cook until I knew what he would and wouldn't eat. Haha.

    My most impressive recipe is...

    Sadly Pepsi glazed ham, super creamy mashed potatoes and other veggies is my only real specialty. I also make killer peanut butter cookies....and my apple pies always get rave reviews. Then I would pray that he liked it enough to stick around and speak to me for a while and maybe recite poetry or just talk in Finnish for a while and maybe sing to me. That would be a Thanksgiving to TRULY celebrate :)

    Too bad no meat as I make a mean roast of duck stuffed with mead-soaked figs! Works really well with chicken as well. :) and on my budget. I was tempted to answer reindeer! XD I used to cook professionally and roasts are fun to make. But what use is that if he's a vegetarian? Or is he vegan still? Is he back to eating fish? One doesn't want to go around offending guests even if they show up unannounced. hmmm... turkey breast with... - oh now LOOK what you've have done to me! XD

    We had our Thanksgiving here in Canada back in October already. Tofurky? They are not very impressive! They sort of scare me! XD

    I just got through DJ'ing a birthday radio show for him very early this morning (some folks on here kicked money to the station to cover the production costs during funding drive) I thought it kind of cooked. :) does that count?

    Seriously though, I suppose that means I'd have to come up with some sort of actual menu... damn - I just woke up and my brain is not on. plus... veggie thanks giving... my mind is stuck in root vegetable mode! XD

    Pumpkin pie would be traditional and I think I'd throw some pecans into the crust... er... scalloped potatoes. Um... if veggie but not vegan - cheese is OK so gruyere in with the scalloped potatoes. Ummm... Damn you evil HIM web...

    This poll was the first thing I saw after logging in and i was like - WTH? and my brain went on autopilot, like an idiot! XD I think this is one of the funniest polls HIM's webelf has come up with.

    You could make him pizza with that vegan cheese on top... and tofurky! A tofurky vegan cheese pizza. How American a Thanskgiving *that* would be is anyone's guess! ;)

    And you want to get him drunk, eh? If you look at the answers on this thread do you get the same image I do? Can't you just see a virtual Ville lurching from virtual house to virtual house, eating a smorgasbord (OK Swedish, not Finnish - my bad) of brownies, booze, fruit plates, having no room for anything I'd make and being on SUCH a sugar high! XD

    So then my brain is like... "what would be safe for him to drink that would still create a buzz?" Then, bhang! it hit me. ;) So then we'd have a stoned Ville on a sugar high with no room for any banquet I'd be tempted to cook.

    hmm I've never made a turkey maybe this year I will! I make steak, chicken, pork, lamb, fish and a bunch of other stuff. for Thankgiving (and year round too) I love black olives. I gorge myself on olives. olive party!!!
