READ THIS: ok i know i pissed a lot o people off because yall throught i said mcr waz emo but its not like that!!! i waz stating that the type and style of music they sing and play falls under the emo charts and so thats what i waz stating

none of those bands are emo, emo bands are bands like alesana, scary kids scaring kids, scondhand serenade, hawthorne heights, the number twelve looks like you,saosin, armor for sleep.....

Im not gonna start an argument with you, but the fact is my chemical romance isnt emo. Proof shows in their interviews where they have numerously have said they are NOT emo.

If we are voting in terms of "Emo/Rock Bands" (which we sadly are), I'd have to say My Chem.

I admit MCR do have saddening & sometimes angry lyrics, but they seem to reach out to people anyway, probably because so many people these days can relate to what Gerard writes...

But I personally, do not believe Emo should be classified as anything...I'm just going to leave the damn abbreviation of 'Emotion' alone...

I love ALL OF THEM, but i'm going for Good Charlotte because i know everyone will vote for MCR, who are also awesome. I just think people should think about GC, i mean they don't give a fuck what people think about them and never have. Never been easy and i really admire them. Sure, it isn't easy for any band, but they deserve more credit than they get.

MCR TRUMPS ALL! besides, Good Charlotte is so done and was like oh I idk like 7th grade for me, they were great when all I had to listen to was N'Sync and freaking Backstreet Boys, although me and my roomate blast Riot Girl sometime for the heck of it, and as for FOB and Panic! well, I'd rather dig out my knee cap with a rusty spork than listen to their music!

yeah my favorite ROCK band is AVENGED SEVENFOLD also none of those bands are emo and i mean NONE they are either alternative or pop rock even punk but NONE of them are emo plus all those bands up there suck ass big time i dont like any of them and if MCR's songs fall under emo cuz they have emotion i dare you to find a rock song that has absolutely no emotion what so ever and if you cant doesnt that mean every band is emo. which i no is not true

Number One - MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE IS NOT FUCKING EMO. Gerard HATES being called Emo.

Number Two - Panic! At The Disco is NOT Emo OR rock. They are ALTERNATIVE.

Now that the creator of the poll has LEARNED something, the answer is obviously My Chemical Romance. I've heard all their songs. Plus, i've already eliminated P!ATD as they're not a rock group [still love all their songs though] and Good Charlotte is... ugh. The River is like... one of the only songs of theirs I like. Fall Out Boy is SECOND in comparison.
