My Mum's 83 - she gave on me a long time ago....lol

I'm a parent of an 18 and 12 year old and Black Parade has been in my car stereo for months and months....keeps me awake on the school run. I LOVE I Don't Love You and Teenagers and Mama....and, well you get the picture!!

My mum and dad are COMPLETELY against any kind of rock music ^^;;; or alternative... or screamo... They're against any kind of modern music. They think that if you curse in music, it's not music, and that doesn't make any sense! Yup, they hate MCR very much TT^TT

Well...... my mom is totally cool with it cuz as long as she doesn't have to hear it ,it's totally fine, but the thing my mom doesn't approve of is my unnatural obsession with Gerard way, and of course the whole death thing isn't exactly approved of and my head gets bitten off every single time I try to bring them up, but still I love them to fuckin' pieces!!!!! MCR ROCKS FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes! it's reallly annoying. my mom has even went as far as to tell me that mcr doesn't really care about me. she gets mad that i listen to them alot and if i even think about bringing them up she bites my head off. she's let up a little bit because she knows i'll never stop listening to them so she gave up.

my mom thought everything i did is weird and not very 'girl like', later through one of my uncle discovered the existance of certain subcultures, and asked me if i was apart of it as popular beliefe has it that MCR fans are apart of this culture. arrr stupid people annoy me. i wish she remaind oblivious to these thingslike she is with most other things i do.

hell yes they did at first!!! My mom didnt even like green day, when i started listening to music. But the funny thing is i listened to all sorts of stuff, like blink 182 lol, so she really doesnt even know. But if you only tell them about the good things my chem has done, like the charity's and all that stuff. They truely are amazing people you can tell, but the thing that scares most parents away is just all the makeup and black clothes. Once my mom got past all that stuff, she acctually doesnt mind them anymore.

They're just like us in so many ways, lol,

At first, i think my mom didn't like too much MCR, i don't know, the make up, clothes. But now she understands how much i love them. She went with me to their concert and, after that, she really likes My Chem, and enjoy to give me cds or other MCR stuffs :)
she even made me a My Chemical cake at my birthday lol
