I was thinking the other day
what you and me have been through
like we didn't have anything better to do
but be healed

I see the tears in your eyes
I wondered if it was only a disguise
but I know you have been through too much for that
so what else could I say

Is holding you a crime is love our only option
to think these things out before our emotions get in the way
to see the smile on your face then say hello
being the person I know I can be

And then
and then I realize how much I care now
to tell you how much you mean to me
how much now I see

Today I will begin
today I will be a new person
to lift up my heart to you
to see these things through

To be with you during the sunrise
so I may see the light in your eyes
then to breathe the same breath
being forgiven so dear

You know what
this is a good one.
We have 2 things going for us.
Freedom and Forgiveness.
Resentment never works for me.
To forgive is working. And always did take away the pain.
To bad more people are not reading this.

YOU are very welcome, Sugar! I'm very proud of my baby girl these days! She's working on this incredibly epic tale (very sophisticated, I might add) and she's doing it ALL IN PROSE! It's damn good - ON THE MONEY! I keep having to REMIND myself, "she's only 14. She's only 14. She's only 14...."
