Answered: No. It doesn't really matter if they sell out or not.
It depends if they change their sound sometimes its not selling out its the band growing older and maturing. Sometimes when it is selling out it depends on if they still sound good

My definition of selling out is different than most others.

Most people think Fall Out Boy and All Time Low are sell outs because their sound changed, but their not. They matured musically. Big deal.

But if I find a band that genuinely sold out, I would only listen to the stuff I like.

Yeah i agree.. All Time low did not sell out. and neither did Fall out boy.

It just upsets me greatly that All Time Low are consider sell outs.
did people expect them to sound the same for their rest of their career?!

i don't think any of the bands i listen to have sold out. selling out is changing the music style in order to achieve more fame/money. some bands just change their sound because their creative styles has changed due to lots of factors...

But the definition of sell out is really subjective. So..I dunno but yeah I probably would stop liking them but the bands i like havent sold out...yet

i dont like when they sell out, cuz they change in to something they arent just for the fame and mainly the money,
but all bands have to change there sound at one point, but if they arent doing it for the money i really dont care, cuz everyone has to grow and change,

None of the bands I like have ever sold out. It pisses me off that the answer for this has a picture of Fall Out Boy, because they haven't fucking sold out. I hate those two words, because they get assigned to SO many bands I listen to, but what is selling out, really? Being on the radio and TV? Excuse me, but if you get pissed at a band for getting famous and accomplishing their dreams, then you aren't even a real fan.

From my point of view, a band doesn't sell out.
A band has to change their sound up.
If they were to keep playing the same notes, the same beats, their music would get boring and no one would buy it.
