I can try to explain why...

I like indie music because not only that its good tunes, but it's "underground". When I buy their music, I support the little guys. They have amazing and unique sounds and never dominate the top charts that consist of hip hop and Paramore. I love indie because they are young artists searching for a breakthrough, even though their music is amazing! The concerts are cheap at $20-$50. They are independent and I like that. :)

Hmm...well music is my escape from reality. It's what helps me express my emotions and also helps me feel emotions that i wasn't feeling earlier. It's meaningful and just simply beautiful. I love any kind of rock because its real, i can easily relate to what some bands are singing about. I also love choral music because its just simply beautiful and it just warms my heart when i hear it.

It cheers me up when I feel like crap. And when I don't feel like crap, it makes me even happier.
Plus, I have a part time job as a janitor. Mopping up chocolate milk for three hours WITHOUT music is an unspeakable fate.

its either really fast and upbeat, so it makes me want 2 dance. or its really slow and makes me cry when im sad, both make me feel better

You can't have a legit reason for liking the music you do, because to people who don't like it, the reason wouldn't be legit.
