I was diagnosed with HIV infection in 1989 and AIDS in 1995. I hold a baccalaureate degree in nursing and hold licensure as an RN in the state of Florida. I currently reside in Tulsa, OK after living in Miami, FL for 12 years.

Obviously, our lifestyle and how we take care of ourselves both mentally and physically, plays a factor, but for the most part, our lifespan is predetermined.

Obama has his side of the story and has attempted to answer questions on various talk shows and during the debates. The same goes with McCain. He is no saint by any sense of the word. As far as Palin is concerned, I cannot see that she is knowledgeable to be VP. She actually has never answered a complete question. At this point in time, our nation is divided and we must find a way to pull it back together.

I find it strange that straights see us as a threat to their marriage! Is a straight marriage so fragile that allowing a same sex couple to have the same rights will destroy theirs?????????? Go figure....

+5 raves I believe that we need to treat each other with respect. If you disagree that's OK, but some... I believe that we need to treat each other with respect. If you disagree that's OK, but sometimes there are SH's who just won't let an issue rest. I don't usually check to see the age of a particular SH to see if they are very young or mature, but if I had to guess, most who are judgmental, belong to a younger group. I believe we should be able to argue an issue without the use of name calling. Attack the issue, not the person.
