I'm a mother who,following a very long and difficult divorce worthy of a Lifetime channel movie, is on the path to new self discovery. I like to meet new people with different ideas..but theres a limit to my niceness...if you have a difference of opinion than me...cool..but if you come after me with meaness I'll come right back at you...nothing I dislike more than hatefullness, bigotry, hypocrisy, close-mindedness and holier-than-thou people.

Being that I am currently a single mom, most of my activities center around my children.. and the rest I've already mentioned in my 'interests' section :)

I have pretty erratic interests. I like tattoos, piercings, most sports, some politics,intelligent people and conversation, a good debate, sarcasm, harleys, fairies, most music, a good book, different religions and beliefs, the rain and traveling. I have a fascination with Scotland and plan one day to go there.

I don't get to watch TV with my kids around...but I usually don't go a day without being subjected to at least four Spongebob reruns..(I'm beginning to find the humor in it which at times scares me).

Like all types of movies from scary to funny and even some "kid" movies...but my favorites tend to be ones that make you laugh and cry at the same time....maybe because it reminds me of my life...

I'll read just about anything, but off the top of my head my favs are: The Lovely Bones, All the Pretty Horses,No Country for Old Men, The Notebook, Roots, A Bend in the Road, My Sister's Keeper, P.S. I Love You, the Alex Cross series. My fav authors are Jodi Picoult, Cormac McCarthy, Nicholas Sparks, Sandra Brown, Anne Rice and James Patterson

At this point in my life my heroes are my children...if you pay attention to them, they can teach you something almost daily.
I admire any person that has gone through the school of life and got back up when knocked down even when they didn't think they could.
I also admire Barack Obama immensely...he is well aware of the risks to his safety for running for and winning the presidency and yet risks it all for the chance for change for the better here in America.
