You pay HOW MUCH for a gallon of gas?

Torchmanner ~PWCM~JLA 2012/04/13 13:59:29
You!

gas prices

We are paying almost $4.00 a gallon for regular gasoline here. The cheapest we could find elsewhere is $3.81. Just wonder how many people won't be able to drive to work this summer? How many will resort to a scooter?

Either way, it's still too f'n much and there is no good reason for it. And yet, that lying socialist traitor Obama is doing whatever he can to keep the prices going up.

Diesel is 4.13.9 to 4.22.9 Government wants high prices because it's just another way of controlling people, because they don't travel as much.

Love my Prius. Guy ahead of me paid $73 to fillup. I paid $32. Which was ridiculous actually, but at least bearable.

but I am retired so for me that doesn't matter..nothing else fit.. We live on a fixed income and pay $3.99 right now.. but with the increased costs of everything else it really cramps the budget.. especially the cost of groceries now.. it's actually criminal how much food costs have jumped.. that's cause transportation costs are higher I know.. but they also know that everyone has to buy food .. don't they?

    inflation dollar

It's not that gas costs more, it's that the almighty Dollar is worth less. It's called Fiat.

No, it is called spending more than you have and printing it. We all can thank Congress for that.

Yep, we can thank the last 100 years of politicians for that, also

You can create both inflation and deflation with fiat money. You can do the same if you peg the dollar to raspberries, sand or paper towels.

It all comes down to the amount. The more in relation to GDP, inflation. The less in relation to GDP, deflation.

Living in the city is easy b/c of mass transit and we have great bicycle paths. But I have seen prices as high as $4.78+ in Chicago.

For everything, too! WTF? This is the transportation hub of the country, too; there should be no reason that we are the highest and I mean for everything. I remember that they had to go to court to bring down the price for a gallon of milk! Wisconsin is not far away at all! Just the freakin' taxes man! Damn crooked pollies tax us out the arse.
