We are paying almost $4.00 a gallon for regular gasoline here. The cheapest we could find elsewhere is $3.81. Just wonder how many people won't be able to drive to work this summer? How many will resort to a scooter?

Living in the city is easy b/c of mass transit and we have great bicycle paths. But I have seen prices as high as $4.78+ in Chicago.

I just filled up on Sunday morning at Sam's Club and it was 3.72/gallon.

We pay about $8 a gallon here in South Africa and a third of that which goes to the government as tax. Sorry to say they are stealing our money and they are living in luxury, some of them own up to 12 house in very upmarmaket

Paid $4.09 yesterday.

Love my Prius. Guy ahead of me paid $73 to fillup. I paid $32. Which was ridiculous actually, but at least bearable.

but I am retired so for me that doesn't matter..nothing else fit.. We live on a fixed income and pay $3.99 right now.. but with the increased costs of everything else it really cramps the budget.. especially the cost of groceries now.. it's actually criminal how much food costs have jumped.. that's cause transportation costs are higher I know.. but they also know that everyone has to buy food .. don't they?

You can create both inflation and deflation with fiat money. You can do the same if you peg the dollar to raspberries, sand or paper towels.

It all comes down to the amount. The more in relation to GDP, inflation. The less in relation to GDP, deflation.

Im getting my CLASSIC car out of the shop today! The last time I entered it into a show, she came in 2nd place so I hope she will win next time!

Problem! The next show is in Arkansas, 358 miles from house! The car requires PREMIUM gas at $4.12 per gallon, dont understand why Texas is so cheap on regular, yet so expensive on Premium?

So, at 10 miles per gallon.... 700 mile round trip, that's close to $300 in gasoline cost alone... JUST to show a car! :(

Damn obama.... he takes the joy out of my showing off my classic and the people who won't get to see it entered this year! I cannot justify that expense! :(

About $3.91 here, when it does hit $4 a gallon I'll be paying $140 to fill up since I have a truck.

For everything, too! WTF? This is the transportation hub of the country, too; there should be no reason that we are the highest and I mean for everything. I remember that they had to go to court to bring down the price for a gallon of milk! Wisconsin is not far away at all! Just the freakin' taxes man! Damn crooked pollies tax us out the arse.
