Yoko Ono's New Clothing Line for Men: Wacky or Wonderful?

Yoko Ono is not known for her subtlety or reserve, so we shouldn't be surprised that her new clothing line is anything but. The menswear line is available at Opening Ceremony, and was inspired by her husband, the late Beatle John Lennon. More specifically, John Lennon's body.

According to the Huffington Post, Yoko Ono released a statement explaining, "I was inspired to create 'Fashions for Men' amazed at how my man was looking so great. I felt it was a pity if we could not make clothes emphasizing his very sexy bod. So, I made this whole series with love for his hot bod and gave it to him as a wedding present. You can imagine how he went wild and fell in love with me even more."

Yoko is trying to squeeze the last few dollars she can out of the Beatle generation. She was always a greedy freak. I don't know what John saw in her. Maybe he was telling the world "I'm hip and cool with the interacial thing" and that won out over his common sense.There are many beautiful and loving Asian woman out there. Yoko just seemed to enjoy the fame that came with John Lennon. Or perhaps he was just another looney lefty. He was the brains behind the music, no doubt, and I wish he was still around. But his politics were typical lefty hypocrite. Oh yeah, Yoko's freak show "I need attention" clothing line really, really sucks!

I have never before been glad John Lennon is dead, but if he had modeled and promoted these idiotic, tacky Yoko Ono clothing items for her, I would never again have wanted to listen to his music.
