I wouldn't wear them to work in the yard, but they'd be fun for certain events. Like Halloween or Mardi Gras or something like that Fun events. They're very theatrical.

I wear false eyelashes when I go out or for special occasions, but I wouldn't wear those spider lashes. Makeup is supposed to enhance a woman's natural beauty, not make her look like a circus freak. I don't know how some female celebrities can even SEE, they've got on such heavy-looking false spider eyelashes. This was definitely a bad trend for 2011, or for ANY year for that matter, and I hope it quickly goes out of style. Two other trends that need to go bye-bye are those fake-looking, overly long hair extensions and the booties gals are wearing with dresses, which makes their feet look like hooves. Egad.

What exactly is fashionable about having a constant annoyance when blinking? Sorry but I prefer putting on 3 different layers of mascara and looking more natural than looking like something from a halloween costume. Fake long nails, eyelashes and flotation devices as lips are for hookers and women who feel they need to look like a blow up porn doll to get what they want.

Runway...yes, as most anything there goes! If someone wants to enhance their God given features that's fine too, given it don't look gawd awful or fake works best. Although I have to admit: If I saw someone wearing those lashes while trying to have a conversation with them, all I could concentrate on would be...ripping them off and searching for the spider before it crawled up my leg!

I'd never wear them and if I saw someone wearing them I'd probably laugh. But I think in a photo shoot or on the runway, they'd look really cool and pretty.
