WWJD? (i still respect religions.....) but hard to say that I "follow ALL the ways of Jesus?!)

Many people have serious emotional issues because of religions and their devotion to Jesus. There is no sanity in beliefs systems.

I try to treat everyone with a certain sense of respect based on my sort of Christian upbringing, but it doesn't always work. I respect everyone regardless of their beliefs, as long as they don't infringe on mine, those generally held by my community, or the ideals of the United States of America. Not the greatest answer, but I like it haha

I think your taking the statement a little too literal; i believe it's more in the sense of 'doing the right thing in complicated situations', such as if you were faced with the situation of helping out someone in need, or telling someone the truth even if it may hurt their feelings, i'd say its just about trying to do whats right and being a better person.

The Bible does not say that Jesus never married or had children (but He would have married before having children). It does not say He never dated. The Bible says that women as well as men traveled with Him. He had nowhere to lay His head only during His missionary travels. He allows all of us to follow our own path. Jesus warned Judas, but allowed him to do as he chose. I believe that Jesus had power over nature. I trust whatever Jesus would do.

Christ did accept Judas as a friend - a friend who chose to betray Him.

oh come on, jesus let the guy walk...he counselled everyone else, but let Judas walk....when he only had a select 12???? gimme a break.

He told Peter that he would deny Him.
He told Judas that he would betray Him.
Both chose to do what they did.

Since He counseled everyone, and the Twelve with the most detail, why did not Judas listen?

I think we'll never know the whole truth as much has been lost in the translation of the bible much of which was written in different languages and had to be translated into english. And scientists today believe Jueus wasn't born in a barn as wood was very scarce in that part of the world at that time but in the lower section of a home, like todays basements where food stuffs and some animals were kept there for Jesus being born in a manger. And the word "INN" could be translated into the upper part of a home where the eating and sleeping and living was done. The parts I really do like is where Jesus keeps telling us to help the poor and how he called those rich religious figures of His time hypocrites every chance He got.

I think WWJD means that you must try to do whatever is best for all concerned without hurting anyone if possible. I think it also means that we are supposed to combat evil wherever we encounter it. Mostly it means be the best person you can be.

he his whole message was in a nutshell, if you believe that he was sent from God himself, than you shall be saved from the judgement to come and the place Hell, all the miracles he "performed" were for the benefit of the eyewitnesses of that day, how else would a following so powerful turn out the whole world and even the great "Roman Empire" of that time, nothing is the scripture will be relevant without faith in a God, is what jesus was trying to get across the whole time. its not all about jesus, because before he came

I don't believe that to be true. I use to but God gave us a brain and logic and the ability to think things out. Jesus imo meant those who believe in Him, His teachings, His commands that we live like He says we should, not just believe He is the son of God. Remember no where in the bible does Jesus ever say He is the son of God. He calls Himself the "son of man". Jesus told us how to live and it is through His teachings and commands that if we follow them then we will be saved.
