So,I was talking with my friends about something when this topic just came up! One of my friends were like"America is losing its culture.Parents let their kids have sex before they're even married.That is the reason why there are so many unhappy and single mothers out there".......I don't think that only Americans have sex before marriage...What about you?

How can you love somebody so much and not share the joy of lovemaking ?
The temptation would be too great for me to wait until I got married.
If I am totally turned on by a man then I want all of him. No halfway measures for me !

Most people do, and it has nothing to do with parents letting it happen. Parents have no say over what their adult children do, and they can't really stop their teens from doing it either. The reason why fewer people are waiting till marriage now is because the socially acceptable age for marriage is older than it used to be. It makes some sense to wait if you're getting married at 18, it is ridiculous to wait if you're getting married at 30. In fact, I'm glad if more parents are coming to their senses and accepting a normal practice. That being said, I still believe in the importance of two-parent families, so if you're going to have sex before getting married use birth control.

It's definitely not "just Americans" who are doing this. All kids everywhere do it, and some nations want to out-emulate what they think American culture is all about, based on the TV garbage that's fed. Anyway if only people didn't make such a big deal about it. I'd bet anything the world would be happier and people would be nicer to each other!

yes i did. dont feel ashamed, but i understand that sex before marriage is not for everyone...its a huge issue here in the United States, in fact its a hot topic for the elections.......does the government do funding for this? i dont quite understand the corrolation.....

Waiting for love is better than waiting for marriage, the best solution really. Marrying someone before you have sex with them means entering a lifelong commitment with no knowledge of an important part of lasting relationships.

It really depends on the person I am with, personally I would, but if the person I'm with doesn't want to do it before marriage, I would respect her.

It only happened once, because the girl was just using me. However, marriage is just a word used by the government to give handouts to who some religions find worthy (but not all), and a word used by religions to control their masses. Of course, marriage fails, anyway, because divorce exists. As long as divorce exists, marriage will always be nothing more than a word that means nothing.

Sex is far too important a part of compatibility to ever not..I have fully explicitly discussed my expectations before any contemplation of marriage.Incompatible sex drives has been the ruin of far too many marriage to overlook

First marriage was at 25. Second one 39. I think it's a good idea to test drive before purchasing. As people mature sexually, their needs become better defined. If those needs are not mutually satisfying, it WILL lead to problems.

Of course. When I met my husband, I had experience and a child from a failed relationship. My husband, however, was a virgin and very receptable to being taught. He is exceedingly happy with our sex life, which has been relatively active for 10 years now.
