Would You Wear a Relationship Bracelet?

You!

It's no longer enough to update your relationship status on your Facebook page. Now, you have to wear it on your sleeve ... literally. Buump Relationship Status bracelets, new to the U.S. this spring, have already made a successful splash at New York City Fashion Week, according to the company's press release:

"Targeting 13 to 35 year olds, these pliable silicon bracelets come in 10 lively colors of two different types: one that defines your current relationship status, and one that states what you're looking for. "So, for example, you can wear a two-bracelet combo that shows that you're 'in an open relationship' and looking for 'whatever I can get,' or 'married' but looking for 'fun.'"

The company admits that the bracelets were "inspired by the Facebook relationship status," and fans include reality star Kristin Cavallari and designer Betsey Johnson. So, would you wear your relationship status on your sleeve... or rather, your wrist?

This makes me sorta mad for several different reasons. But I don't want to be an idiot and rant to no one, so here's a picture of a puppy instead.

Not on our foreheads.... either on the back of our necks or the inside of our wrists. Sooner or later they'll be our ID's and credit cards, and a whole sh!t load of other things.

I'm single and plan on keeping it that way for quite some time. Wouldn't want to lead someone thinking single equals available.

Looks childish. I don't need a bracelet, my boyfriend knows I love him. Also wearing an 'it's complicated' bracelet is like screaming for attention.

Sounds like it's for desperate people. Specially for single people. It makes it seem like the person is in a real urge of finding a partner. As a single person myself, I wouldn't wear it.

Granted I would never wear any but interesting if you go somewhere, no more guessing if someone is single or if a woman doesn't want to be hit on... or does want to be. lol

Don't think I'd want to pay for it though, thank you very much.

Sometimes I do want a bracelet that says I'm single though...

isn't that what wedding rings are for, if he/she has one steer clear, if they dont their fair game (obviously until they tell you that they are in a relationship).

It'll only give a female a second reason to get mad if I don't want to wear my "in a relationship" or "married". I think as a guy if you opt to wear it once you'll have to wear it until she finds it stupid or have a stupid 2 minute conversation on the foolish bracelet.
