It's no longer enough to update your relationship status on your Facebook page. Now, you have to wear it on your sleeve ... literally. Buump Relationship Status bracelets, new to the U.S. this spring, have already made a successful splash at New York City Fashion Week, according to the company's press release:

relationship bracelet

"Targeting 13 to 35 year olds, these pliable silicon bracelets come in 10 lively colors of two different types: one that defines your current relationship status, and one that states what you're looking for. "So, for example, you can wear a two-bracelet combo that shows that you're 'in an open relationship' and looking for 'whatever I can get,' or 'married' but looking for 'fun.'"

The company admits that the bracelets were "inspired by the Facebook relationship status," and fans include reality star Kristin Cavallari and designer Betsey Johnson. So, would you wear your relationship status on your sleeve... or rather, your wrist?

This makes me sorta mad for several different reasons. But I don't want to be an idiot and rant to no one, so here's a picture of a puppy instead.

It does seem silly, but I love bracelets. And, think about it -- it's harmless.

The bracelets are not my thing. And im not looking for a realtionship. If someone wants to be my friend.I want them to come and talk to me. Also im picky with people being my friends. They have to be shy like me.

People complain about loss of privacy, but many are willing to advertise parts of their lives to total strangers.

hit the wrong button. If it would keep guys from hitting on me and me constantly having to say "Married" then sure... but I doubt it would since my wedding ring doesnt.

I have reasons why I would, because I'm a very handsome guy, I'm satisfied with whom I'm in a relationship with. girls hit on me all the time and while I find that tempting I forget that the ugly ones that look like trolls and Old hags hit on me too, so when they see the relationship bracelet they'll just redirect themselves away from me like mosquitoes from a mosquito repellant. LOL!

I would only wear one that said in a relationship. I don't want everyone around me knowing that I'm forever alone when I'm single. :P

I wear my wedding band. If I came home with a relationship bracelet from another woman, my wife would need a good criminal attorney!

Talk about desperate. All you have to do is walk into a bar or a club with one of those things on, and you won't be wearing it anymore.

    "Status: Married
Status: Looking for whatever I can get"
WTF, am I grabbing that mistake or is just me!?
