Abby and Brittany Hensel — the 22-year-old conjoined twins of Oprah Winfrey fame — are back in the spotlight with their own reality TV show.

TLC’s “Abby and Brittany” follows the sisters as they graduate from Bethel University in St. Paul, Minn. and embark on the job hunt.

“Everywhere they go, they get the stares,” says a friend of the twins in a preview for the show. “I don’t know how they do that every day.”

The sisters — who share a body but have two heads — first fascinated the nation when they were featured on the cover of Life magazine in 1996 - just 6 years old at the time. The same year, they appeared twice on “The Oprah Winfrey Show.”

I certainly would not watch a show about them, but I will also say that it is indeed fascinating.

At one point in the video the mother of Abby and Brittany says "no, we don't owe the world an explanation" and I could not agree with her more. If they want to keep it completely quiet, then that's up to them. If they want to publicize some activities, I'm sure there will be a market for that as well.

And the girls seem to be adorable.

I wish them the best and a healthy and happy life.

They're 22 now. Read they had to get two drivers licenses.
How would they handle dating? Marriage?
If they got hired at a job would they get paid for 2 people? You know some employer would try to get away with paying them only one pay check.

What kind of sense of humor do they have? "Hey, my boobs are down there."
Jeffery Ross said, "If this is a Reality TV show which head is going to get voted off first?"

What little I've seen of them on TV they NEVER seen to have that dumbass quality most Reality TV people seem to have.

I did watch a documentary on them on a medical science show a few years back, so I can't say "No". I'm a bit interested in how they're doing. At least a show on them would presumably actually have interesting circumstances, unlike most reality TV shows which use an average or boring situation.

Them. Two separate brains and, from what I saw on Discovery Health about them, two very different personalities.

I love my Big Bang Theory. Gotta have my Sheldon fix. LOL! I'm also a CSI fan. I just can't take anymore of the Jersey Shore, Housewives of....(Like they're real housewives? Sure.), Storage Wars (Yuuuup!), the ones about pawn shops, the one about moonshine, etc. type programming. What's next....garbage men to the stars? It seems as though the public thrives on following people around for no apparent reason. If that's the case, shut off the boob tube and go out and meet people instead.

I've seen the Alaskan fishing/crabbing shows. They make me a nervous wreck. Same with the Ice Road Truckers. Hubs is a fan of both.

Hubs watches Storage Wars. I need to play Angry Birds when he does so I can imagine Mr. Yuuup as a pig. He drives me nuts.

I mean, to each his own. Obviously people watch them or they wouldn't be on. Personally, I feel like they just take the easy way out anymore when it comes to programs and I'm tired of it. From Toddlers and Tantrums spawned that Honeydew Melon chick. Give me a break. 10 new reality shows (at least) every year and maybe one new series that makes it past the first few episodes? That's sad.

I saw an indepth show on them a year or two ago.. They want to get married.. now the question is,, two heads one body,, each half controlled by each head.. they had to get two drivers license,,, can they marry two men??? But as I posted,, I thinks the program would be exploiting them just as the reality show of little people did for them...

What happens if one of them likes a guy....or they both like the same guy and how would a 'normal' guy react to interacting with 2 people in this way.....and say they both happen to get guys...how would 2 men share the one body? It's just so bizarre and reminds me of a movie I saw in the 70's.

Not sure, to be honest. A tad different than the situation Chang and Eng Bunker had. They at least had to separate bodies and were able to father 21 kids between them. It would still be an odd situation for me if I were the wife of one, though.

Not sure about that, either. I do remember reading that there was an uproar when the Bunker twins got married/wanted to get married because they were conjoined.

The Bunkers got married to a pair of sisters & had 21 children between themselves (pun inevitable). Technically the separate lineages were half siblings &/or 1st cousins.
Would be interesting if they hooked up with another conjoined.
    Stay Tuned.

I just wonder what happens when they fight...head butts? Biting? I wonder which person head gets the body and which gets just the head in the event of a conflict?

If I recall correctly, they each have control of half of their body.

That's what I seem to remember, too. Which is why they had to learn to work together so much when it came to driving and such.
