Just the other day, we told you about the pizza vending machines that are coming to the U.S. Today, we have slightly sillier pizza news: at least one "very rich person" is willing to spend $450 on a pie!

The pizza, called C6, was created by Nader Hatami, owner and founder of Steveston Pizza Co. in Canada. It features lobster thermidor and black Alaska cod, with a side of Russian Osetra caviar, The Province reports.
While Hatami has only sold one C6, he has sold seven C5s at $120 a pop: This pie is made with roasted garlic, Icelandic scampi, smoked steelhead and lobster ratatouille. "I never thought I’d sell so many," Hatami told The Province. "The idea was to make a culinary statement." Assuming you're part of the 99 percent, most of Hatmai's pies start at $14. Would you ever spend $450 on a pizza?

"The most expensive pizza, commercially available, is a thin-crust, wood fire-baked pizza topped with onion puree, white truffle paste, fontina cheese, baby mozzarella, pancetta, cep mushrooms, freshly picked wild mizuna lettuce and garnished with fresh shavings of a rare Italian white truffle, itself worth £1,400 (then $2,500) per 1 kg (2 lb 3 oz). Depending upon the amount of truffles available each season, the pizza is regularly sold at £100 (then $178) each to customers of Gordon Ramsey's Maze restaurant, London, UK."
