thefatguy 2012/11/12 14:28:30My Pet+7As usual, Fef, there should be an "Other" option. It depends. I have to say that my answer on this has changed. I used to believe that a human being, even a stranger, is infinitely of more worth than any animal, however loyal or loved a pet may be. It was a no-brainer that I would save the human. But, now I am less sure. Many human beings are more dangerous than my pet. My pet can't vote me into slavery. My pet wouldn't rob me or try to kill me. So, now I look at the question from the perspective of is it better to save a potentially dangerous animal (human) of greater inherent worth or a non-threatening animal of lesser inherent worth? I must say that I'm unsure now. The sad reality is that many humans do not deserve to be saved, especially because many end up needing to be saved due to their own foolish decisions whereas animals are more helpless and I expect less of their intelligence. I would consider many factors before I decided to act, including where I was, if I knew whether or not the person had accidentally fallen in the water and how the person looked.

Rodents= Animals
HUMANS= Animals
Your argument is invalid.
Congratulation to the man in the photos!
