Would You Rather Watch a TV Show or a Movie?

Really it depends on the T.V. show & movie.

Straight to the story.

No commercials in movies. I get very tired of commercials.

Definitely a movie ! I love movies especially comedies and romantic comedies.
I love going to the movies or watching movies at home.

I am not into TV shows. I love Frasier or South Park but that sums it up for me.

Depends on the movie or show in question. But really I watch too much of both.

A good movie always perks me up. Plus their deep moments last longer and tend to really jazz me up.

But I watch them on a dvr to cut out the commercials. When they use to have 3 or 4 minutes for commercials I did not mind, Now it is 19 to 20 minutes of commercials in a one program. That is not acceptable.

i truly enjoy film. and has i get older i am starting to learn more about quality of scene choice camera angles. being able to watch with a more analytical observation. but T.V. serious have gotten much better

I've come to realize that I dont have the attention span for a movie

Because usually there won't be a cliff hanger that you have to wait to find out what happens

I find myself more excited to watch a new series just because now you can watch the whole thing at once...

the plots are more developed and it has more content then movies.

It actually depends on what show or movie. I mean, I'd rather watch Anime shows, and the Lord of the Ring Movies. So... pick one. Lol

It really depends. If I'm short on time, I prefer tv shows. But if I'm with friends or family, and just want to relax on the couch for awhile I'd pick a movie.

But it costs me too much so I usually watch a TV show.

TV Shows have the advantage of not being limited to just 3 hours to tell a story in. Compare any Marvel Movie Universe film to 23+ episode shows like Heroes.

Movies are slightly less brain numbing; television breeds idiots.

An occasional movie (at home) is fine if I'm in the mood to actually pay attention to the development of the story line; otherwise, TV is just background noise. However, when Jeopardy! is on, I won't even answer the phone.

Th only tv shows I watch are CSI, True Blood or dexter oh and documentaries or nature. You can keep all your reality tv crap, bunch of no marks with no acting abilities that make my teeth itch. Watched a brilliant film last night. Mesrine. French subtitled film based on true story of Jaques Mesrine. Bank robber. Im going to watch Mesrine 2 tonight. Oh and any of you with a purile sense of humor. Imbetweeners. Movie is not to be missed. I love my old classics when men were either gentlemen or cads ,Cary Grant, Bogart, James Stewart and so many more. All Asian horror is the nuts. And I love world cinema
Especially Pedro Almodovar , he makes movies that you simply never know where they are going, twist galore. Hitchcock and old British comedy like Carry on , Norman wisdom and many more.

I don't have a long enough attention span for movies.. So that results in watching it over again. I can at least concentrate long enough to watch a show.

I like things that have long story lines so I have something to look forward too also I dislike when things end so tv series are the way for me.

Who wants to pay 11+ dollars for a movie and deal with people when you can just stay home and watch something just as bad.

Very few I watch, but have to be in the mood to watch a movie.
