I like to see t the item before I buy. Sometime when I've seen smoothing in a store I will look it up on line to see if I can find a better price. I take my smart phone shopping. Most time I get it off the rack or shelf.

My state has the second highest sales tax in the US, I can shop at online stores and often avoid those high sales taxes also stores are often over crowded which annoys the heck out of me and I hate waiting in line.

Simple fact is the brick & mortar model is going the way of the dinosaur. Online is just more convenient and generally has a wider selection anyway. Heck, some stores have computer terminals that let you shop online from their website from within the store already if an item isn't in stock.

I'm kind of weird about online shopping. I want to hold the shirt in my hands before I buy it.

It's ...actually safer -_-; I don't get shot when going to university, I don't get shot when going to the cinemas...I don't get shot when going island camps (too soon x 3?) Instead I do everything online from the comfort of my own home.

That said I also have a lot of consumer protection laws that enable me to be safe online so even if people steal my money, I'm reimbursed =D If my parcels are lost... I'm reimbursed =D and if they're found again, I get free stuff! =) if I'm not happy with a product, I have extra layers of protection so that I can return it....

    Ah consumer protection law *drools*

In all honesty I guess it depends on what I'm shopping for but I hate paying for shipping and handling and then waiting weeks just to get what I bought.

I like going to the stores because I always see something that I had not thought of, and if it's on Sale, then it's a double feel-good whammy. Should I be with my son, or girlfriend, sometimes we have lunch out, which is a big treat for me.

Sometimes, there might be a button missing on clothing, or a scratch on a non-clothing item, then I get to haggle with the Sales Associate about a price reduction. That can be very rewarding especially if it's something I really want or the SA has no haggling talent :)

We don't speak of such places anymore... all we know is that very bad people are sent there and sadomasochists go there voluntarily. Some people tell me that you can lose everything there and that you can be dragged around for hours on end in what seems like an eternity...

(A shopping centre has so many parallels with 'hell' it's uncanny)

Depends. Do I want "have it now", or is it something that can wait a couple days? (For pre-orders, I prefer online. No waiting outside a store for hours waiting for it to open so that I can get my copy...which will probably take a couple of hours before I get to do anything with it anyway.)

I like to research a product before purchasing it online. Also, it's easier not to have to drive to go get an item. With amazon prime it's very easy to order things.

In the stores, I can pick up items and hold them in my hands and inspect the quality of it prior to buying it.

I like online when I know specifically exactly what I want make model etc, as the service is usually much better. Retail usually don't know their products, poor customer service and act like they are doing you a favor ringing it up.
