I am already living life as a happy fulfilled Atheists and have absolutely no desire to be a christian under any circumstances.
I believe in science, knowledge and information and would never submit to a life of superstition and magic and fear.
Would you rather live life as a happy and fulfilled Atheist or as a happy Christian with no arms who paints beautiful watercolors with their feet and inspires others to become Christians ?

I also know a lot of Christians who are the text-book definition of pathetic. They aren't pathetic by virtue of BEING Christians, but BEING Christian, has not made them more respectable either.
Anyway, I wasn't talking about ALL Christians. I was talking about YOU. The way you said "At least I have hope after death", sounds like you have NO hope, prior to. A well-lived life doesn't need an encore. And if there is one, let it be a bonus.
1. "God gave us His word and if studied, He will reveil Himself to us. You also have to be open to God, not closed minded."
>I can tell you first-hand that this is untrue. I studied. I begged your god to come into my heart. I begged him to reveal himself to me. Over the course of 8 years, I searched. The last two of which, I studied so intently, that some around me thought I was preparing to go to seminary. But nothing was revealed. In the end, I realized that he either wasn't there, or didn't care.
2. A useless life is one which in no way improves the world around him/her. Some criminals or violent dictators. People who if you add up all the good they've done, and all the bad, they find themselves having done more harm than good.
3. "When you're a Christian, you began to realize that what happens to us in this life is inconsequencial. We'll only be here 70 or 80 years, maybe a few more, but in regard to eternity in either heaven or hell, our little lives here on earth doesn't matter."
>You're a gambler. You're betting your house-payment, on a chance to be a millionare. The fact is that those 70 or 80 years, short though they may be; are all we KNOW we have. Maybe there is more, maybe not. But we KNOW that we have today. We KNOW that we have this lif...

Maybe there is more, maybe not. But we KNOW that we have today. We KNOW that we have this life. And to call that inconsequential, is idiotic. The two most precious things that any of us has, is our life and our dignity.
4. " If you're given eternal life and you had no doubt about it, wouldn't you want to tell someone else about it?"
>How can you possibly have no doubt about it? Have you seen it? Do you know anyone who has? You're basing an incredibly large gamble, on a 2000 year old book, which has been re-translated over and over again, and which has been proven faulty in the past. It's one thing to believe, but to have "no doubt"? How?
I am not the least big concerned on being out numbers by fools
And a host of other disgusting name that I care not to even repeat. So do not lecture me on what you think is mean. I have heard it all spewed forth from every imaginable 'true' christian here on SH.
I could also never see myself as a christian.
