We like our house but a condo would be nice if it was right downtown with all the shops, sidewalk cafes, restaurants, museums, and bars. Wouldn't need a car or much, just walk out the door and sit at your favorite table,..

I am not really good at yard work, or shoveling snow, or raking leaves, or fixing broken things.

But, I am not a fan of having neighbors, so they better be awesome and quiet.

I like living in hotels, condos, apartments, I just don't know why. But I like hotels most.

You have more privacy in a house. Houses are not connected to each other, but separated by yards and fences. You don't share any walls with neighbors, there's nobody pounding on your ceiling from upstairs or on your walls next door. You don't have to get any approval to put dishes, antennas, solar panels, or any electrical upgrades and yard improvements.

Condos are probably better if you're not home often or you live in a big urban center close to cafes, restaurants, shops, and etertainment.

To me it is no different than a apartment you bought. No thanks don't want neighbors that close on all four sides and top and below. I have had that before and the noise is no fun.

At this stage in my life I want a nice beachside condo, perferably Hawaii! But it won't be happening in this lifetime, so I will continue dreaming!

I have the house I always wanted. Did most of design, with help from inspirational pictures. I bought the best view lot I could find, in a very desirable subdivision, and built my house 4 yrs ago. I consider myself to be very lucky to be able to do this.
