Besides that, I would much rather be Free to live my life as I see fit, not as the Overbearing tyrannical government says I should.

I'd rather be both but since I can only choose one..I go with healthy. I want to be healthy so I can work and try to become rich--if the govt will still let me...

I just answered this to read what the people who prefer fiscal wealth have to say. For me it's a no-brainer.

You can't pay someone to exercise for you. "After Many a Summer Dies the Swan" is about this issue and a good read ...if you like Huxley.

You can pay a personal trainer, a nutritionist, cook, camps, surgery, by health the best healthcare when ill.

"As stated in a World Health Organization pamphlet: "People further down the social ladder usually run at least twice the risk of serious illness and premature death of those near the top."
The traditional answer to these questions has been that greater wealth and social status mean greater access to medical care.

"Today the standard answer--or, at least, the answer you are guaranteed to get from the WHO and other large health bureaucracies--is that inequality itself is the killer. The argument is that low status translates into insecurity, stress and anxiety, all of which increases susceptibility to disease. This psychosocial case is lengthily elaborated in Social Determinants of Health, a 1999 publication collectively created by 22 medical specialists and endorsed by the WHO."

Still the question grants me health. Even if a millionaire, I will eventually lose my health...as did one of my heroes, Jack LaLanne. With guaranteed health, I get to choose when I die; can't beat that.

I already am healthy. I'd rather be healthy than become a rich snob.
