Would you prefer to be blind of deaf?

I love to read too much to give up my sight.

i think i'd be more self-sufficient than if i were blind

I would rather be deaf but at the same time i love music but i use my eye a lot lol it is a tough one but i say deaf

To much noice in the world............

Tough choice but as a musician a no-brainer to answer.

this is one of the hardest question i've answered today, but if you chose to be blind then think about all the beautiful things that you would never get to see that god created and all the amazing things in life you will get hear about and never get to see. if you chose death then you probably won't hear you name ever get call at all or you hearng that great moment, but you can't here nothing so its hard to feel what it's trying to express, but there's sign language so ur a liitle bit better off then blind people. what ever a choice ur choice was both sides has a good/bad advantage like being death u won't here all the ugly things that people may say about you so maybe you will never have a low health esteem, and if u chose blind then we will never see all the ugly things in life, like color would never matter to you, for me it would be death beacause i wouldn't want to miss out on all the beautiful things/place/people that god created.

I meant to chose deaf.Because it would be a million times harder to live blind.

I use my eyes for more than just to see my environment. But I would rather just be dead, after all I can always just be reincarnated…

Closed captioning allows persons with hearing disabilities to have access to television programming by displaying the audio portion of a television. Least you can understand it... lol

I wouldn't care i was blind. At least that way i can still listen to music.

I need my music. I have an imagination and can use it to figure out what I should be seeing. Besides it would be more entertaining than real life.

It would be much easier to live a fairly normal life.

To say the truth, I would probably get massively depressed if I ever lost my sight or hearing. I love music, I'm a singer and pianist and being deaf would be a big impact on that, exspecially the singing. But I don't know how I would be able to live without seeing the face of my loved ones, or the scenery at the top of a mountain, the view of the ocean. I am very grateful to have all my senses. And I hope I stay this way.

My eyesight is my best sense. The only thing that would convince me to vote blind is when I finally find my dream girl, I'd be inclined to hold her tighter.

I could be deaf.. Sight is something I can't do without.

As much as I love music I would still rather be deaf. At least I could see my family, watch tv or movies, surf the net for porn, argue with people of SH, ect

Definitely easier to adapt to hearing loss than sight.

I'm a TV addict and an avid reader. I would be devastated without my sight. (I would miss music though).

I couldn't stand not seeing these hot actors in movies every day, but I think I'd die if I had to go my whole life without listening to music or not being able to anymore. Music is my life.

Being blind I could have a guide dog and I have a friend who is blind who can teach me the tricks of survival for the blind. I would like to hear the sounds of the world and the voices of the people. It would be very hard because blind people are treated with the most disrespect of just about any minority.

It would be easier to function, I think.

Since my eyesight has always been limited and now I am going deaf, I think I'll stick with deaf.

Well deaf because you can still see everything. It would be really hard to blind for me. Because i can't see anything. What do blind people see?. But when your deaf you can learn sign lanuage and how to read people lips. and sometimes i think you can even get a hearing aid.
