Small and intimate for sure!. I prefer the little things in life, romance, intimacy and meaning. I feel large gatherings, weddings, etc are pretentious, gaudy and more about bragging rights and a spectacle that detract from the true meaning at hand!..

First of all it wouldn't cost you as much it would to do a large extravagant wedding. and plus it is the love between the couples that mean the most.

I'm not paying for extra people that really don't care about me to be at my wedding. I'd want something small with the people I care about most there. I'm not going to invite people in my family that I never talk to either. I'd only invite the people that I communicate with regularly. I don't care about the others and if they have a problem with it whatever.

We had a small wedding at the church my father was the minister at. We had around 150 family members and guests, and our reception was held in the parish hall next door. No band, no professional caterer, and we spnt very little money. It was a super day. small Episcopal church

It's a tradition in my family only family and very close friends are invited to weddings unless the bride and groom decide to elope like my parents did

I would prefer a small wedding; many women want a big wedding because all they see is the "romantic" nature of it and don't see how much it costs. I would want a small wedding and save the romance for the marriage.

Doesn't make sense to splash out like that, right when money is the tightest and often the biggest concern in your relationship.

Actually, if you love someone (listen up lgbt community) you don't NEED a piece of paper to make you married. You also don't need a ceremony and you don't need to force anyone who doesn't like you or what you're doing to participate.
