You!

For all the ladies (and guys) out there that could never get into games like "Call of Duty," "World of Warcraft" or even "Super Mario Bros.," Conde Nast has a new game that you may be interested in. It's called "Fashion Hazard," and you play as a model trying to master the art of the catwalk. You learn how to pose and get points for avoiding hurdles like fallen models. Does this sound interesting to you or will you stick to first-person shooting games?

COCOPEREZ.COM reports:
Condé Nast has finally created a game for couture-loving ladies called Fashion Hazard, the game where you “swipe, tap and tilt your way up the ranks.”

I like the modeling and fashion industry and I like video games (yes, there are girls who play PS3 and WoW and Minecraft. They do exist. Deal with it).
So this is like the best of both worlds.
I also like this particular game. It doesn't sugarcoat the industry and glamorize it the way other games do (those "modeling" games in which you just put on pretty clothes on your character and you beat the game), but it shows you how you start at the bottom and if you're lucky and hardworking, can get to the top (aka, Paris). I think those other games about models just make every little girl believe that all you have to do to model is smile and BAM! a six figure paycheck. It's not like that. And those games are creating a terrible illusion, making aspiring models expect something and when they get there... It's not as pretty as they thought.

Technically, I already have. There are those Bratz video games that I'm ashamed to admit are fun to kill time. Granted, it's not high-fashion modeling, but it's pretty damn close to it. Then there's the Jojo's Fashion Show for the PC and other consoles. I think they're fun. When I don't feel like killing myself sitting for six-plus hours on a game like COD or Assassion's Creed or Mirror's Edge, then yeah, I'll definitely playing a modeling video game.

I presume that at the end of the walkway, there will be a dragon or evil sorceror or terrorist which I must kill using fashion accessories while trying to balance on high heels and not to ruin the newest designer dress?

Sounds like a legitimate challenge for a change. Count me in.

Why, so I can create a character that looks like me and then pretend to live life through a video-game because I have low self-esteem???! Nah, no thanks. Skyrim's more my thing.

Who said anything about first person shooters?

I like RPGs like Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. Tactic games are quite fun as well (Final Fantasy Tactics). If I want something mindless I might play the occasional Diner Dash and Patapon. On the DS my favourites would The World Ends With You and Ace Attorney investigations.

I try to find games that aren't built around violence (though most of what I play is), but this is definitely not what I'm looking for either.

To each their own, but that sounds absolutely moronic. Sorry, I'm sticking to my MMO's and FPS's. Anyone who plays this, for any reason other than jest, could never legitimately call themselves a gamer.

You can't even really call this a game. A game is supposed to be a story that unfolds and is some what unpredictable and has meaning to some extent. This? Heh, yeah, have fun "swipe, tap, and tilting" at 1 mile an hour while I do it to something at 100 mph and have FUN learning about a different world.

A game doesn't have to have a story per se, just a set goal.

Which is why many people classify Minecraft as a toy instead of a game.
