I know at least some of you are thinking: I already feel like I am
having sex with a robot. But new research predicts that we will be
having sex with actual robots within five years and considers an
exciting application of robotic technology – replacing sex workers with
androids.

The possibilities are fascinating. Affordable android sex workers
could have the power to eliminate the trafficking of men and women from
the sex trades. It could stop the exploitation of very young boys and
girls in poor countries by sex tourists. It could stem the tide of
sexually transmitted infections that currently flow from sex workers to
their clients to those clients’ wives and other sexual partners.

I don't know anything about 'Androids', but I do know that my girlfriend's Navy Officer husband bought her "The Sybian" sex toy for when he's gone away at sea. She chided me into trying it and it turned me into a "WILD woman!" I seriously thought about getting one for myself, but then the price! Yup, $1400 for a sex toy is a little much, don't ya' think?

I guess in order to be good an android would have to keep up with me. I don't know if an Eveready battery would work even though it's long-lasting. I also would not want my android to be plugged into electricity. I might cause a short-circuit.

They're going to have to work on the power source and make something safe and reliable. Once they get all the kinks worked out, I might consider this.
