A couple in Texas had five daughters. The parents chose to pay for their daughters' college educations. Over time, the amount came to $1.5 million (each of the daughters went to out-of-state private schools).
The tuition price came as a shock. And not everyone can afford to do this for their children.

- LilPenguinBuddie 2012/05/21 23:07:07Yes (why?)Well, I don't like kids, so I don't plan on making or getting any. But....., if that's what it takes to get my child the proper education to get somewhere in life. Of course I wouldn't pay all of it, but yes..reply
- L1 2012/05/21 11:05:02No (why not?)If I had any, I wouldn't. I paid my own way, and even if I could, by the time college came around, it become a complete luxury and inaccessible. Trade schools can be just as good.reply
- obi_have 2012/05/21 05:57:56No (why not?)You make your own way in this world. I don't think you're really "helping" your kids by handing everything to them. They need to work for what they want.reply
- tweet_tweet 2012/05/21 05:34:55Yes (why?)College education gets people ahead in this world. Most high school graduates are not ready to pay for this, and I don't want them to be in debt for years paying off tuition loans.reply
