Miss Kitty was the runt of the litter; she was treated horribly; her little tail was closed in a door; and it's still bent today....she acts more like a dog; she knows when I'll be home; she sits on top of my recliner or on it; and when she sees me she barks..her ears are so big; I call her BatCat..she is a trip grey tabby

My cats and some of my dogs, like me, are mutts and we're okay with that.

The cat doesn't care, and you're, most likely, not going to act any different toward the cat if you know what breed it is. Besides, most house cats are such a mix, reading the DNA report is going to be like trying to read a demographic report: 10% calico, 2% siamese, 8%....

I know enough about my cats. I know who their mother is. A Maine Coon. The father? No. Do I want to know? No.

No...unless she had extremely unusual traits for a cat, like regenerative healing, the ability to read and write, etc. ;)

No one is going to blame those kittens on him, and he is not paying support for having a good time for a feline that said she was fixed.

The only exception would be if it was picked up by it's hind legs and used as a club to kill me and they needed to do DNA tests to determine if it was that cat or another cat club that was used as the murder weapon. Otherwise, no.

Check the shape of the muzzle and the loose skin. Muzzle may be longer but the skin is a give away.

    Like I said. Some.

Could be but she/he is sure pretty.. I have an Akita/German Shepherd and she's great. To me DNA wouldn't change my mind one way or another. If you lov'em, that's all that matters. My seven cats are all mixed up. lol. who knows where they came from. They are still my kidlets... Here's my dog Trouble. Trouble

though i must say it'd be interesting to find out why, of 4, three of them look just like their mom and the one looks nothing like any of them (so much so that people question if he's really from the same litter)...
